When you open your VideoLogic.ini, it is read in your browser. Your changes, the versions you save, and the file you download are all kept in your browser on your computer. We do not receive or store your file.
The health check and the ask box run on our server. To use them, the page sends us your setting values (and your question, if you ask one). We use them to give you an answer.
We may keep those setting values and questions to see how the tool is used and to make it better. What we keep has nothing that points back to you:
What is left is a set of settings with a date. We may study it, share findings from it, and use it to improve this and other tools.
You can say no. The first time you use a check or ask a question, the page asks you. If you choose "No thanks", nothing is sent, and you can still open, edit and download your file. You can change your mind with the "Turn them on" link.
VideoLogic Helper is free and offered as it is. Check changes before you rely on them, and keep a copy of your settings. We are not responsible for lost files, failed conversions or other damage from using it. VideoLogic is a separate program by its own authors; this site is not part of it.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
